The Scandinavian LCHF (low carbohydrate high fat) diet is not a 'crash' diet - lose weight and return to old bad habits. This is a 'change your lifestyle' diet and involves radically changing what you eat. In taking up the Scandinavian Diet your are not simply removing most carbohydrates from your diet but changing the way your metabloism works and the way it burns and stores fat.

Simple rules for a healthy diet

Eat and drink milk, Greek/Turkish yoghurt, cheese, cream, butter and mayonaise.
Avoid so called 'light', reduced fat and sugared food products.
Eat beef, pork, lamb, chicken and seafood and don't cut away the fat!
Prepare home-made sauces with no carbohydrates.
Eat more omega-3 rich fish, eggs and saturated fats.
Eat a maximum of 5 grams of carbohydrates per 100 grams of other ingredients.
Broccoli and cauliflower are excellent replacements for potatoes and have them baked with cheese!
Stay away from potaotes and potato based products like crisps and chips; rice; grain based starchy foods like pasta, bread, cakes, biscuits, porridge and pancakes.

Calorie restriction is not part of LCHF, nor is eating a certain amount of meals. If you're not hungry in the morning - don't eat. Eat only when you are hungry, there's no stress about eating every 3rd hour. Some people find that they have to eat only 2-3 times per day, and the need for snacking stops. But why does this happen? When we decrease our intake of carbohydrates and increase natural fat, the body automatically controls it's appetite. Try it, you'll see!

Another thing that separates LCHF from for example BT, is that there are no "cheat meals". Eating large amounts of carbs one day, to then go cold turkey next day only leads to unstable blood sugar levels, which leaves us more prone to falling off the wagon. Therefore I have rarely come across yoyo-dieting when people eat LCHF.

Kostdoktor Eenfeldt on päivittänyt englanninkieliset LCHF ohjeensa ja sieltä tosiaan löytyy paljon ihan käytännön juttuja. http://www.dietdoctor.com/low-carb/what-to-eat

Vuosi sitten ostin Skaldemannin kirjan ja nyt toisen...vaan kirjat ei painoo tiputa vaikka pilkulleen noudattaisin.
Luulisin osaavani jo syödä näin monen vuoden jälkeen.
Saas näkee, löytyykö :roll: nyt kilpparipaneelin jälkeen jotain kättäpitempää...ettei ainakaan hiissais ylöspäin :?:
